Zach Everly has served as the Director of Delta Community Choir since January 2024. He currently serves as the Director of Choirs at Grand Ledge High School.
Prior to arriving in Grand Ledge, Zach served as the Director of Vocal Music at Charlotte High School in Charlotte, Michigan. Under his direction, programs have seen a significant increase in enrollment, and all ensembles have received high ratings at District, State, and Regional festivals. As an active conductor and artist in the Lansing region, Zach is also the Director of the Central United Methodist Church Choir and sings with The Riverbend Voices.

Additionally, Zach serves as the Secretary on the Michigan School Vocal Music Association’s Board of Directors. Zach holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Alma College and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University.
Zach prides himself on fostering a musical environment where all singers know that they’re important, they matter, and they’re loved. His love is music, his passion is teaching, and it is his core belief that nothing feeds the human soul like making music with other people. He is a firm believer that there is a place for everyone in the choir, and he loves watching singers find artistic ways to express themselves and connect with the world around them. When not teaching or performing, Zach enjoys kayaking, watching musicals, playing the piano, and spending time with loved ones.
