Our Savior Lutheran Food Bank

The Our Savior Lutheran Food Bank has been serving the people of Lansing for over 20 years.  It is one of the only food banks in Ingham County that also supplies personal care items, clothing, toys, books and household items to those that desire them.  We specialize in assisting veterans and clients from Community Mental Health in addition to our regular clients.  Currently, we serve an average of 550 people each month.

We accept donations of non-perishable food items such as; cereal, canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut butter, jelly, etc.  Personal care items that are needed include: bar soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper, razors, laundry detergent and women’s hygiene products.  Donations of gently used clothing, shoes, children’s books and small household items are also welcome.

Donations can be dropped off at the Our Savior Lutheran Church office between
8 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday.  The church’s address is 7910 E. St Joe Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917.  Monetary donations can be mailed to this address with a notation of Food Bank in the memo line.  If you have any questions regarding the food bank, please call Sharon Miller at 517-882-7750 or send an email to oslfoodbank@oursaviorlansing.org.
